HAMPERS
Am I Eligible?
To be eligible to receive a hamper, you must be a resident of Strathcona County. For those residing elsewhere, please visit 211.ca for assistance in your area.
Only those permanently residing in the household are eligible for assistance. Visiting family or friends are not eligible.
Applicants are required to provide:
• Photo ID for each adult
• Alberta Health Care Card or Birth Certificate for each child residing in the household
• Proof of Strathcona County residency, such as current utility statement, rental receipt, a recent piece of government mail, AISH, or Alberta Works monthly statements.
Applications will be accepted from Saturday, November 1st to Sunday, November 30, 2025
To apply, please fill out the Hamper Application Form. If you need assistance with the form, please call 780-918-2521, Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 4 PM

Nominate Someone
If you or someone you know is in need of assistance, nominating them to receive a hamper can provide essential support. This simple act of kindness will go a long way for those in need. To nominate someone please call hamper intake at 780-918-2521.
